The Link Secondary School specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for students from a wide range of local authorities. We are situated in the London Borough of Sutton and are easily accessible by public transport from Waddon Station and well placed to draw upon a wide range of leisure, recreational and educational facilities having easy access to Surrey and London.
The Link Secondary School is an academy and part of The Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) As a small special school we provide education for up to 56 studentss, aged between 11-16 with an additional provision for students aged 16-19. There is also a Link Primary School and the two schools maintain close liaison. Both schools are approved by the DfE and children are referred to the schools by Local Education Authorities.
Establishing and developing relationships with parents and carers is a central part of our philosophy. Children learn best when the school and parents work together and we value the contribution that parents make to our school and endeavour to provide many opportunities for quality collaboration.
The school is committed to equal opportunities. The school building is small and friendly.
